A freelance marketplace connects people who need work done with people who do it: designers, translators, developers, but also local pros such as cleaners, movers or tutors. Whatever the niche, visitors come to do one of two things, and the site has to make both easy.
We built Taskora, a marketplace theme in our digital platform websites, around those two flows. This guide walks through what such a site needs.
Flow 1: buy a ready package
Many buyers do not want to write a brief. They want to see a service with a clear scope and price, and order it. That is the "gig" model:
- each service has Basic, Standard and Premium packages, each with its own scope, delivery time and price;
- the listing page has search and filters, so buyers find the right category fast;
- each gig and each seller has a detail page with reviews and other services.
Flow 2: post a job, collect offers
Larger or unusual jobs do not fit a package. Here the buyer writes what they need and sellers send offers. The site needs a job post page and an offer screen where offers can be compared.
The screens around the order
Once a buyer and seller agree, people need to know where things stand. Taskora includes seller profiles, an inbox screen and an order status screen, so the site looks and feels like a working marketplace from the first day.
What a theme covers, and what it does not
Be clear about this before you buy any marketplace template. Taskora is a storefront: 9 pages, the screens above, and a panel where you edit texts, photos and listings. Every package choice and every offer ends in a panel form, so you receive orders and offers from the first day.
User accounts, balances, payments to sellers, escrow and commissions are backend work. They depend on your payment provider and your rules, so we build them as custom software when you need them. Many marketplaces start with the storefront, handle the first orders by hand, and add accounts once demand is proven.
Before you launch
- Pick one niche first. A marketplace for "everything" has empty categories.
- Prepare 10 to 20 real gigs, so the first visitors see choice.
- Write clear rules: delivery times, revisions, refunds.
- Decide how you take payment before the first order arrives.

Questions
Is Taskora a complete marketplace with payments?
No. Taskora is a storefront theme with 9 pages: gig packages, job posts and offers, profiles, messages and order status. Package choices and offers arrive as forms in the panel. Accounts, balances and seller payouts are separate custom work.
Can it be used for local services instead of freelancers?
Yes. The same flows work for local pros such as cleaners, movers or tutors: priced packages for standard jobs and job posts with offers for the rest.
Which languages does it support?
Like our other ready-made websites, it comes in Turkish, English and Russian.
