How to choose a theme for your e-pin store

A theme decides what buyers see first: a banner, a search box, a price list or a shelf of best sellers. Pick it from your catalog and your traffic, not from the prettiest screenshot.

Kavia Commerce has 10 ready store themes, V1 to V10. They all run on the same platform, with the same catalog, checkout, wallet and admin panel. What changes is the layout: the header, the home page blocks, how categories are reached and how the store feels on a phone.

That makes the choice easier than it looks. You are not choosing features; you are choosing how buyers find products. Here is how to narrow it down.

Question 1: how big is your catalog?

A store with 40 products and a store with 4,000 need different front pages.

  • Large catalogs with many brands and price lists do well with dense layouts that show categories and prices early: V3 Dark classic puts a category menu and a price board next to the banner, and V5 Marketplace replaces the banner with side navigation and a search.
  • Broad, product-led catalogs of game keys suit V10 Showcase Pro: a two-row header, a wide search with sections inside it and a featured stage with the section list beside it.
  • Small, curated catalogs look better with less chrome: V7 Cinematic uses full-screen artwork and one headline, and V8 Minimal keeps a short home page behind an edge-to-edge banner.

Question 2: where do your buyers come from?

If most of your traffic is on phones, as it often is for game top-ups, look at how the theme handles search and categories on a small screen. V9 App shows games as app icons with a wide search and large rounded cards, built for mobile-first stores and top-up shops.

If buyers arrive from search engines looking for a specific brand, a layout that makes brand pages easy to reach matters more than the banner. V2 Showcase uses icon shortcuts and a numbered best-seller list, aimed at stores selling worldwide with many brands.

Question 3: what should the store feel like?

  • Familiar: V1 Classic has a section bar, banner, quick buy and product rails, the layout most e-pin buyers already know.
  • Light and calm: V4 Light classic is white and compact, with shortcut boxes above the banner.
  • Trend-led: V6 Modern has a floating glass header, color tiles and tabbed trends, for stores that run campaigns often.

Every theme takes your logo and colors, so your brand still leads.

Try them on the same catalog

The fastest way to decide is to compare themes on identical products. The live demo store opens each theme with a parameter: add ?skin=v1 to ?skin=v10 to the address. Open the same product page in two themes, then do the same on your phone.

The themes page has screenshots of every theme on desktop and mobile, and each theme page lists its header type, home page blocks and who it suits.

How many themes come with each plan

Kavia Start includes one theme, with logo and color settings. Kavia Pro includes four, so you can switch later without a migration. Your products, customers and orders stay the same when the theme changes, because the theme only changes the storefront.

A short checklist

  • Count your products and brands, then shortlist two or three themes for that size.
  • Open them in the demo store on a phone and on a desktop.
  • Check how fast a buyer reaches a top-up with a player ID field.
  • Check how your logo and main color look on each.

Then send us your shortlist with your logo, and we can tell you how each one will look with your brand. See also how to launch an e-pin site for the rest of the setup.

Questions

Do the themes have different features?

No. All 10 themes run on the same platform with the same catalog, checkout, wallet and admin panel. They differ in layout, home page blocks and style.

Can I change the theme later?

Yes. The theme only changes the storefront, so products, customers and orders stay as they are. Start includes one theme and Pro includes four.

How can I preview a theme with real products?

Open the live demo store at demo.kaviasoft.com and add ?skin=v1 to ?skin=v10 to the address to see each theme on the same sample catalog.

Can a theme use my brand colors?

Yes. Every theme takes your logo and colors. Deeper design changes are possible as custom work.
